.. Welcome to the Farr Bay Inn..

Nestled amongst the dunes of Farr Bay close to the beautiful
village of Bettyhill on Scotland's North Coast, The
Farr Bay Inn offers a superb location for a relaxing getaway from the hustle
and bustle of everyday life.
With a welcoming atmosphere, log fire, lovely rooms, and a well
stocked bar, the Farr Bay Inn (or FBI as it is known locally) is popular
amongst locals and holidaymakers alike.
Built in 1819 and now a listed building, the Farr Bay Inn was
formerly the home of the local minister until the Church of Scotland relocated
to the village centre. It was established as an inn in 1983 and has been run by
the current owners, Rosemary and Penny since May 2003.
The Farr Bay Inn is a small and friendly home from home, ideally
set on the outskirts of Bettyhill, within the old crofting settlement of Clachan. It is within easy walking
distance of secluded Farr Bay, and close to the other amenities offered in the
centre of the village.
Pets are always welcome. Karan, Steve and Luke are ardent cat
lovers, so if you have any pet related allergies please declare them prior to
your arrival!
The
mark of quality ...
In 2005 the inn was awarded a two star rating from Visit
Scotland, and is now a totally non-smoking establishment in line with
legislation passed in March 2006.
